My name is Ann Wolta Blackstone and I am an LPGA Teaching Professional, the SGCC Junior Golf Director and the Varsity Coach for St. Mary’s High School Girls Golf Team. I am married and the mother of two children.
I started my journey with golf at age 10. Growing up in Arizona, I played competitively in both junior and high school girls’ golf, winning the Arizona State Girls Golf Tournament as a senior. I received a scholarship and continued to play competitively on the Arizona State University Women’s Golf Team. After graduation, I moved to Colorado and became an LPGA Teaching professional and have been teaching men, women and juniors for over 35 years. During this time, I have achieved the highest status in the LPGA Teaching & Club Professional Division: Class A/Life Teaching Professional.
My golf career has many milestone moments:

- As a two-time breast cancer survivor for 25 years, I am proud to have raised over $120,000 for women and men battling breast cancer in Colorado
For the members at Southglenn Country Club, I offer private, semi-private group and junior golf lessons. Every golfer is different, so I will customize a plan of action for you to achieve your golf goals. I believe it is important to address the mental and physical aspects of each golfer in order to help them develop the necessary skills to improve their golf games. Whether you are a seasoned golfer needing a tune-up or brand new to the game, I look forward to working with you.
